GTK bubble menu arrows have jaggies when not pointing straight up

If you check the balloon arrow in the picture (just below the Save button) you can see as that part is very blurry compared to the other parts of the balloon.

The screenshot looks perfectly clear to me. So two questions...

1. Can you zoom in on what you think the issue is?

2. Are you using a VGA (analog) connection? If so then it's possible your logical pixels might be slightly out of alignment with the physical LCD pixels. In that case you need to adjust your monitor settings.

2. No, it's my laptop screen, so I think it should be fine.

Oh I see now, thanks.

It appears this is "fixed" or has been worked around now in 17.10. By moving the window buttons to the right hand side, the bubble menu now has room to be nicely formatted and points straight up. So I think the issue is now invisible. Can you find any other cases not fixed yet in 17.10?
