Bug Description
The dropdown arrow (triangle) pointing sideways disappears, or more precisely is hardly visible because there seems to be a kind of transparent border around it, when a package in Ubuntu software updates is marked. The same applies when the dropdown arrow is clicked and now is pointing downwards.
The GTK theme used is the Ubuntu default Ambiance GTK theme.
The expected behaviour would be that the arrow simply turns all white and stays clearly visible. That is also the correct behaviour in current Ubuntu 14.10, no problem there.
Possibly of interest might be this similar bug report against Numix GTK theme, in this case relating to Ubuntu 14.10: https:/
Attached is an overview with three screenshots, the problem with the dropdown arrow is pointed to.
