Bug Description
There doesn't seem to be a way to search the scrollback buffer and find strings in earlier Terminal output.
gnome-terminal uses the shortcut Ctrl+Shift+F for this. Which doesn't do anything in Terminal (and nothing is listed in the Shortcut preferences).
