Bug Description
A system-wide "text size" option is vital, especially for older users, or those with visual difficulties.
The current text display is way too small to read comfortably, across
the entire Ubuntu Touch OS and affects the majority of apps and
scopes. There is no way to change it at present.
This standard option is available in the settings of Ubuntu desktop, as
well as Android, iOS and Windows Phone devices. Not including it for
Ubuntu Touch is a pretty serious oversight!
I'm now using Ubuntu as my only phone. Personally, I need fonts to
display at 200% scale (or more) to be practical and it's the single
show-stopper. Everything else is progressing beautifully!
Based on Ubuntu Touch 15.05 (OTA-12), on LGE Nexus 4.
