2015-08-06 12:43:29 Femma description Our devices are currently named by the model number, with no way to change that name. It shows up over MTP, Bluetooth etc. Having two devices of the same model means I can't then easily identify which one I want to interact with. It should be possible to set a custom device name that will then be used in all those cases. It should be possible to set a custom device name that will then be used in all those cases. Our devices are currently named by the model number, with no way to change that name. It shows up over: - MTP, where the name is "Aquaris E4.5" - Bluetooth, where the name is "MX4 Ubuntu Edition" - DHCP, where the device name is "ubuntu-phablet" - for example "ssh ubuntu-phablet.znh" etc. Having two devices of the same model means I can't then easily identify which one I want to interact with. It should be possible to set a custom device name that will then be used in all those cases. UX Resolution: Please see attached image device-name for the solution.
