Bug Description

Please have the update interface report useful error messages such as "sign into ubuntu one for updates".

In the system settings -> updates, the OTA updates have been working fine for weeks but I haven't had a single application successfully update. There may be ten, twelve, fifteen or so applications with updates available and no amount of clicking on "pause" or "update" or "pause all" or "update all" buttons causes anything except a long list of 0% progress bars.

On IRC I was told I needed to sign out of and back into Ubuntu One for the updates to work. I wish the phone had told me this itself, I had assumed for weeks that the automatic updating of applications simply hadn't been written yet. (Signing out and back in again indeed "fixed" the issue with the broken updates, but we can't ask all our users to get help on IRC.)

Thanks
