Bug Description

The login page of Facebook, flickr and Fitbit are too small and unusable when open in side stage. The user can pinch to zoom, but then it's hard to find the login button.

Test Case:
1. Go to system-settings / Accounts
2. Add an account for facebook, flickr or Fitbit.

Expected Result
I can easily fill my credentials

Actual Result
It's too small and I cannot read.

Hi Jean-Baptiste, can you please give me some more info: is the login page appearing too small within the OA window, or is the OA window itself too small? Is it a windowing problem, or a webview issue (maybe caused by wrong grid unit settings)?

Best of all, if you could attach a screenshot.

Here is a screenshot for Facebook, but the problem is similar for flickr and fitbit. It's like it opens the desktop version of the login form instead of the mobile version in the side stage window.

Instagram or Twitter nicely fit the side stage.

For Soundcloud, the login window is a bit too wide and the 'Confirm' button is partially visible.

The default UA string the Ubuntu WebView sends is based on the *screen* size, not the window size.
10" is considered big enough that it requests "desktop" content.
That’s a deliberate decision, but obviously the side-stage use case wasn’t taken into account in the investigation that led to that decision.

We might need to add an API to the WebView to allow embedders to force "small screen mode".
