Bug Description

<mandel> zyga, rmcbride I have seen a similar bug where we queried the system (on windows) for the proxy and returned a NoneQtProxy which defaults to have an empty url (which explains the message)
<mandel> zyga, got the solution for you :)
<zyga> mandel, tell me :)
<mandel> zyga, look at line 14 here https://pastebin.canonical.com/63469/
<zyga> so it should be the same as the rest?
I suspected that, I said I don't have https proxy set
<mandel> zyga, yes, that would fix it
<zyga> I wonder if that's correct though
it certainly says "no https proxy"
<mandel> zyga, is not, that is for sure
<zyga> so nobody should use it
<rmcbride> that should not matter if there's no https proxy
 ah
so we're throwing that message if that value is null, even though it's not relevant to the config?
<mandel> rmcbride, zyga so, the deal is as follows, we are not parsing the settings correctly, what happens is that if it is set as manual we stupidly assume that you did set a proxy for everything
<rmcbride> AH!
<mandel> rmcbride, zyga, so the code is building a proxy with url ''
<zyga> mandel, correct
<mandel> rmcbride, zyga, then QNetwork tries to find u'' and goes bananas
<rmcbride> why does it still work in my case then? I dont' have https proxy set and I'm still getting sync
<zyga> rmcbride, sync works
<mandel> zyga, would you be so kind to create a bug with this and assign it to me :)
<zyga> rmcbride, just the account tab is incorrect
<rmcbride> zyga: ah. OK so it is at least ocnsistent
<zyga> mandel, on it
<mandel> rmcbride, zyga, is an easy bug to solve, I can't believe that we ignored this case..
