Bug Description

Binary package hint: ubuntu-sounds

/usr/share/sounds/ubuntu/stereo/dialog-warning.ogg sounds like a spring breaking or something. The first couple of dozen times I heard this, I was getting progressively more worried because I thought it was something going wrong with my hard drive! (Since Google Calendar alerts in my browser trigger the dialog-warning sound, the sound often isn't accompanied by a window immediately appearing on my screen, so it took me some time to put two and two together.)

Please make this event sound less like mechanical failure. It really isn't good the way it is.
