Bug Description
ubuntu-settings (12.10.7) is preventing a custom desktop background from being used in the unity greeter
Test case: new install of last day or so:
set a new background, log out/in or restart, default background (purple) will still be used
Test case: older install where the greeter uses a custom background:
create a new user, login, change background. Log out/in or restart, default background will be used for that new user
Re-enabling org.gnome.
gsettings set org.gnome.
changelog of probable interest:
ubuntu-settings (12.10.7) raring; urgency=low
* Disable gnome-settings-
-clipped
- background: Nautilus renders the background, this imposes an unnecessary
check at startup.
