Bug Description

Hello,
I don't know is this right place for that bug, but I haven't found better. When we receive new SMS, e-mail or similar, we get information in notification bar. When we swipe that notify to right we get string 'Delete' and icon of trash. I thought that will permanently delete that sms/e-mail from system. But it's deleting it only from notify bar. It's little confusing. I think better will be 'dismiss', 'reject', 'disgard', 'hide' and change of icon. What do you think about that?

There are new design for UX and visuals for notifications.

"User can dismiss it by swiping either way: left to right or right to left.
User can swipe either way to unlock the screen, if she does, all notifications will disappear and be recorded in the notification centre."

Also agree to that. Hide/Dismiss would be a far better solution. It is not deleting a message as every user will think about this action. In other languages it is/can be even more confusing.

There's no "Delete" string in unity8 source.

Ok, this may actually come from using Menus.GroupedMessageMenu with removable: true that goes down to StandardMenu.qml in ubuntu-settings-components that is using the deprecated ListItems.Empty that has the "Delete" string.

I guess the fix is to make StandardMenu.qml in ubuntu-settings-components not use the deprecated ListItems.Empty?

Anyhow this needs design input on how to fix it so it's not confusing.
