Bug Description

Binary package hint: ubuntu-restricted-extras

This package recommends codecs packages such as libavcodec52, libavformat52,libpostproc51,libswscale0. But this packages also have "extra" alternative package such as libavcodec-extra-52, libavformat-extra-52, etc. Will be good if dependeces will be rewrited as libavcodec52|libavcodec-extra-52, etc.

I compared Ubuntu 16.04 and 16.10. 16.04 plays wma files and 16.10 not. I tried "sudo apt-get clean && sudo apt-get install ubuntu-restricted-extras --reinstall". In 16.04 I noticed a lot of other packages where re-installed like e.g the gstreamer and the ms-fonts package. In 16.10 only the package itself "ubuntu-restricted-extras" has been re-installed and nothing else. It looks like dependencies for the "ubuntu-restricted-extras" are missing in 16.10.
