Bug Description

I followed the https://linuxconfig.org/ubuntu-upgrade-to-24-04-noble-numbat-a-step-by-step-howto-guide
and I got an error message claiming the upgrade had "abort"(ed) due to try to upgrade to a not released version, but it was the "noble numbat" one I tried to upgrade to. Ah, the update manager doesn't "see" noble numbat, so whenever I check the update manager it says all is ok with the latest updates, and the upgrade option is never shown (while my option in the update file is "lts"), so according to the update manager noble numbat was never released.
First time ever reporting a bug, so I hope I didn't screw up so badly ;-)
