upgrade from mantic to noble disables gr lanaguage

Hello,

upgrading from mantic to noble development I noticed that on top of the panel the language selection was missing. As a result I could not switch languages between english and hellenic (greek). Under settings->keyboard->input sources both languages were present though. In order to bypass the problem, I removed completely the greek language and added back again.

Can you reproduce this issue, perhaps in a virtual machine?

First install Ubuntu 22.04 LTS or 23.10, get your language support working, and then perform the upgrade.

Does the bug still happen?

Hello,

the answer is negative. I installed mantic using virtualbox. I added the hellenic (greek) language as usual and issued the gsettings commands in order to change language using Shift+Alt. I upgraded the system to noble, since the issue was observed during an upgrade from mantic to noble. I didn't observe the language problem.
