Bug Description

Reporting issue as requested by the do-release-upgrade failure output.

Upgrading from 20.04 LTS to 20.04.2 LTS using "do-release-upgrade".

First attempt at upgrade stopped due to insufficient disk space warning, 3.3 GB available of required 5 GB on / filesystem. Aborted upgrade and proceeded to clear up space.

Cleared up space to have 5.2 GB available on / filesystem.

Second attempt proceeded, ran for quite some time and failed with following message:

The upgrade has aborted. Your system could be in an unusable state. A
recovery will run now (dpkg --configure -a).
