Unable to upgrade to Ubuntu 20.04 from 18.04

Bug Description

It asks me to either do a ppa purge or check for other errors in the logs. I found that there are broken packages from the log but I am unsure how to fix those, I have tried installing using apt.

Could you uninstall following packages and try again?

python2-dev
python-all-dev
libpython2-dev
libpython2.7-dev

Thanks for taking the time to report this upgrade failure. There is currently a new version of the release upgrader availalbe in -proposed which may resolve the error you've encountered. Please run the following command to test the new version of the upgrader:

  do-release-upgrade -p
