Bug Description
Updating from 18.04 LTS to 20.04 LTS, got an error message "could not calculate the upgrade ". Originally the error message claimed that I needed to purge PPA's from my system. I deleted all the "other software" PPA's in the software and updates program, then tried to run the system updater again. This time it still failed to calculate the upgrade, but did not give any reason whatsoever. Because there was no reason, and it said to file a bug report if "none of these reasons apply" I am filing a bug report. I apologize if this is insufficient information but I am not a very experienced user.
