After updating from 18.04 LTS to 20.04.01 LTS, I lost sound output at rear green jack. Also file folders and files have to be double-clicked not once but 2 times to open.

Bug Description

The sound card is the Realtek ALC 887 8-channel High Def on a ASUS M5 A97 R2.0 motherboard. When I check sound settings in settings, output device is listed as "Dummy Output" and I cannot change it. Test speakers and nothing. I'm assuming that the upgrade got rid of what it thought was out of date drivers ?
