Ubuntu-release-upgrader can not calculate the upgrade to 20.04

Bug Description
The release-upgrader can not calculate the upgrade after removal of the hauppauge kernel drivers. I have some other ppas installed, but those haven't caused problems on upgrade in the past.
Any assistance you all can provide would be helpful. Thanks!
