wireless KB and Mouse not recognised on boot after latest kernel firmware update

Bug Description
After the last kernel firmware update, but wireless keyboard and mouse are no longer recognised on boot.
I have to unplug and reinsert the USB received to get the driver to recognise them.
ON suspend, they are also unable to wake the system
OS: Ubuntu 19.10 64bit
The keyboard is a DELL/Logitech KM714
The mouse is WM714
The receiver is C-U0007
PS: sorry that this is reported under the wrong category, I an unable to find a way to log a bug related to the kernel or a driver
