Bug Description

As i was installing Converting my USB flash drive from NTFS to FAT 32 somewhere in the UBUNTU desktop installer i experienced a flashy glitch that made screen almost unreadable i went back a few step sin the install process kinda reset it :). A thread where another similar install problem where a user encountered similar issues. Just getting setup once i get my IDE's going might take a gander if you cannot find.

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We appreciate the difficulties you are facing, but this appears to be a "regular" (non-security) bug. I have unmarked it as a security issue since this bug does not show evidence of allowing attackers to cross privilege boundaries nor directly cause loss of data/privacy. Please feel free to report any other bugs you may find.

Hello, a flashy glitch is usually a sign of video hardware problems, but without further information it's difficult to know for sure.

I suspect the other user's install problems are due to the confusing way hardware vendors support BIOS, UEFI, CSM, and might be due to windows "fast boot". Probably some time on https://askubuntu.com/ or #ubuntu on irc.freenode.net would help sort out that problem.

Thanks
