Updated System dosnt start, cant find Sysconfig

Bug Description

After Upgrading my System up to Ubuntu 18.04LTS System doesnt start anymore
Desktop doesnt appear, only the small blank screen
nothing happens then anymore
(this happend with my older system sometimes as well, but after a new start it worked again)
I think, sys cannot find the path to the config-file (?)

I have choosen now the extendet boot-option and the old System (Ubuntu 16) for getting help
Please!!
