Bug Description

recent upgrade to 17.10, change to nvidia driver and intel microcode. wayland login no longer available - back to xorg.
I have no idea which of those are relevant.

my bug is a duplicate of a private bug to which I have no access?
Do I need to ask for that one to be marked public?

How will I find out if there is a solution or workaround?
