Bug Description
I performed a upgrade from Ubuntu server 14.04 to 16.04 and it seems something in the update went wrong. Below the log from screenlog.0
Now ?I'm unable to do any package installation or update as I always receive the error with /sbin/udevd
I checked and /sbin/udevd is not existing. As requested the files of /var/log/
chmod: cannot access '/sbin/udevd': No such file or directory
Exception during pm.DoInstall(): E:Problem executing scripts DPkg::Pre-Invoke 'chmod -x /sbin/udevd', E:Sub-process returned an error code
Could not install the upgrades
The upgrade has aborted. Your system could be in an unusable state. A
recovery will run now (dpkg --configure -a).
Please report this bug in a browser at
http://
and attach the files in /var/log/
