Bug Description
I was working doing other things on my computer while the upgrade to Xenial was running. At some point, the upgrade popped up a big squarish dialog; I'm not sure what it said in it exactly, but I saw that it was a grey frame enclosing a scrolling white textbox, and that the word "obsolete" was displayed prominently somewhere in it.
Unfortunately, it popped up and grabbed focus just as I was hitting Enter in the other program I was working in, and as a result, the dialog was dismissed accidentally by me a fraction of a second after it popped up, before I could read what was in it.
The release upgrader should use one of the strategies that other apps of this sort use to prevent this kind of thing from happening: either (a) don't allow the "OK" button in this dialog to be clicked for a few seconds after it pops up, or (b) don't focus on the "OK" button in this dialog by default, i.e., make the user tab to it or click on it to dismiss it.
