cuando coloco las credenciales de administrador me dice que no existe version para actualizar

al ejecutar sudo update-manager me dice que no tengo nada que actualizar, si lo ejecuto update-manager me dice que puedo actualizar a la version 15.10 de la 14.04, pero al momento que me pide las credenciales no hace mas nada.
