Bug Description

I have not been able to install various software such as bittorrent applications.

Updates have not been successful for the past month or so. I am using Ubuntu 14.04.

I was unable to update to 14.10. I was perfectly happy with 14.04 until the strange things (stated above) happened.

This inability to install updates after a certain time is the reason I did a complete fresh reinstallation last time.

Hello - Thank you for reporting this issue!

Can you attach your /etc/apt/sources.list file? I suspect that you're using an archive mirror which is no longer mirroring the 14.10 release now that it is unsupported.

Looks like the upgrader is not aware of EOL versions.
