Bug Description

I just ran the standard Software Updater in ubuntu 14.04.1 LTS and I got a popup stating that not all updates could be installed, and that it could be due to the necessity of a partial upgrade. I installed all available updates, then tried to do a partial upgrade and got this message:

Can't install 'ubuntu-desktop'

It was impossible to install a required package. Please report this as a bug [...]

This has something do with a PPA you have enabled.

Broken libcogl15:amd64 Depends on libegl1-mesa-drivers [ amd64 ] < none -> 10.4.0~git20141112.7a82961b-0ubuntu0ricotz~trusty > ( libs )
  Considering libegl1-mesa-drivers:amd64 1 as a solution to libcogl15:amd64 -1
  Holding Back libcogl15:amd64 rather than change libegl1-mesa-drivers:amd64

What I did to fix it:

sudo apt-get install -f
sudo dpkg –configure -a
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
sudo apt-get install -f
sudo apt-get upgrade

It says it's OK. I'll reboot and report back
