3) I expected the packages to be upgraded to their latest versions.

I have already used Google and ##linux on freenode to search for solutions for this problem. "BluesKaj" from ##linux said that he has reported this previously unknown bug at #ubuntu+1 now; there has been no response yet.

This has also been a problem while already on 14.10, but I'm not sure what else to put under "Also affects project" (if anything) for that...
