Bug Description

niveau.

Ceci peut-être dû à :
* la mise à niveau vers une version de développement d'Ubuntu ;
* la version de développement d'Ubuntu est actuellement utilisée ;
* des paquets logiciels non officiels, non fournis par Ubuntu.

Thx for your help!

Hi Brian,

thanks for your answer, but I don't understand why the upgrade process considers some packages are in a "keep this version" state.

When I check in Synaptic, I don't see any package in such a state...

Any idea?

Cheers,

Vivien

Hello,

I have reviewed bugs similar to this one on launchpad: it usually caused by additional ppas (like xorg-edgers-ppa in bug 1309484).

This doesn't apply in my case.

When I review the logs, it seems ubuntu-desktop version is frozen, but this must be done during the upgrade process, since it doesn't appear in such a state when I open synaptic. I don't know how to solve this.

Is there a way to diagnose the bug more precisely?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I just found that Bug #1322306 seems related to this one.

If anyone has an idea on how to solve this, I'm still stuck.

Thx,

Hello,

I still haven't found a solution to this problem. I was hoping that an update of the release upgrader package would fix the problem, but this didn't happen. And now Ubuntu tells me 13.10 is not supported anymore...

Is there any alternative to a fresh reinstall?

Thx,

VV
