Could not calculate the upgrade
An unresolvable problem occurred while calculating the upgrade.
This can be caused by:
* Upgrading to a pre-release version of Ubuntu
* Running the current pre-release version of Ubuntu
* Unofficial software packages not provided by Ubuntu

the above error i recieve when trying to upgrade from 13.10 to 14.04
it doensn't matter if i try it trough update-manager or throug terminal.
i have no error's in main.log.
and also tryed to disable backboprts and non-canonical sources. doesn't help.

Reviewing the files from your upgrade attempt you seem to have enabled the xorg-edgers-ppa. This will prevent the upgrade as that PPA contains different versions of packages essential to Ubuntu.
