Bug Description
As seen by the hughday for ubuntu-
Some of them have good reasons for this doing, like a dysfunctional graphic system (ppa 's for xorg), others just want to have the latest versions of a software. May be there are also needs like Oracle Java security updates, which make them using a ppa.
Anyway, the causes for ppa enabeling may be very different, but it is clear that there are users out there who are struggling on this.
