Bug Description
IMHO, the current working kernel shouldn't be offered to be removed by the release upgrader. Even though it's no longer available in the repos, the person upgrading will have no recourse if the new kernel doesn't work on their hardware.

The KernelRemoval code in ubuntu- dist-upgrader intentionally skips the running kernel. Do you remember exactly what behaviour you were seeing?
