Bug Description
If during installation of Ubuntu MID to the hard drive, an ubuntu user is not created, the system drops down to a console prompt with no indication of what went wrong. Reproducible on intrepid liveCDs in qemu. Creating the ubuntu user resolves.

There are a few reasons for this. It won't be fixed for intrepid, but it's high on the list of things to be resolved for the next cycle.
