Bug Description

As as per the summery, the ubuntu-desktop meta package unnecessarily hard depends on xterm, while it already depends on gnome-terminal. Given that gnome-terminal is clearly much more capable and provides terminal emulation, adding a second terminal emulator is unnecessary and might cause confusion. This bug affects oneiric and precise.
