Bug Description

Totem Movie Player which ships by default with Ubuntu, in my opinion, is hardly the preferred media app in the community. I would request this be removed and replaced by VLC if possible. However, I am unsure about the codec licensing intricacies of this. I would suggest that if there are issues, VLC with restricted codec be shipped, and there is an easy-install for the codecs once the user installs, and agrees to the Codecs Terms and Conditions. Even if this is not possible, the perhaps an easy install of VLC through software centre be made, because VLC is much more preferred Movie App than Totem Movie Player.
