sometimes fast-user-switch applet disappears

Sometimes fat-user-switch-applet disappears. Take a look at attached screenshot (right top corner).
Happens on different machines. Maybe a book in ubuntu-desktop, but i'm not sure.

There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and in fact the fast-user-switcher-applet has been removed in recent releases.
