Bug Description

I installed Ubuntu LTS with mini.iso. After choosing ubuntu-desktop in task selection gnome-software was not installed.

apport-collect 1909695

This issue has sat without a response to comment #1 for almost two years so it is being closed as 'Invalid'. The reporter gave us no indication as to which 'LTS' release was being installed.

Please feel free to re-open this bug report if this issue has any relevance when using a currently supported release of Ubuntu but please make sure you tell us in which release you still experience this issue.
