ubuntu-keyring doesn't install

I've just tried to create a LTSP chroot for hardy, but ubuntu-keyring won't install. Happens on amd64 and on i386.

Can not write log, openpty() failed (/dev/pts not mounted?)

Sorry, I meant to say "hardy". It's broken in hardy.

Me too after doing an upgrade from Gutsy to Hardy. But, it installed OK after I manually created the directory /var/lib/apt/keyrings.

Confirmed. A temporary workaround is to create /var/lib/apt/keyrings before upgrading.

This bug seems to make it rather difficult to create new chroots with pbuilder. :(

I confirm.
The directory /var/lib/apt/keyrings/ is missing.
I had to manually create it and then run dpkg --configure ubuntu-keyring

This bug was fixed in the package ubuntu-keyring - 2008.03.04
