Extra characters in the pop-over should be selectable also when touching an area outside its margins

Bug Description
* Long-press over a key that has multiple characters
* A pop-over will open and moving the finger left/right allows to select the proper items
However, if you move the finger to the far left/right or above/below the current key row, the pop-over does not keep the selection.
I'm expecting that also if the finger moves to the far left/right of the screen the left/right-most key is selected, while if I move the finger up/down, the item on the same column where is my finger, is selected.
