Bug Description

Binary package hint: gdm

Applies to: Ubuntu 8.04 (beta)
Since: system update (April 1)

Since i accepted yesterday's "updated packages", i was unable to login in Ubuntu Hardy Beta using gdm screen.

GDM screen was not "shown" (after a few minutes). I went to tty1, and tried top. I noticed gdmgreeter is using 99,9% of CPU time.

Workaroud:
- sudo killall gmd
- startx

I really need some help in order to give more usefull information to bug report. I saw no crashes. Nothing in upstream buglist.
