Trying to install nvidea drivers, with ubuntu-drivers autoinstall since "Software & Updates" complains about not being online, happened this buh, I think.

Thank you for your bug report, the error about not being online has been resolved in bug #1946196, unsure why the permission error though, maybe the disk had an error and was remounted readonly?
