Bug Description

To reproduce on a laptop with a broadcom 4322 wireless chipset install firmware-b43-installer package and then connect to a wireless network with thsi driver. Then open the additional drivers tab of software properties gtk to see if this device is working or not. Instead even though you are connected via this wireless network it still says it is not working.

the network info output from inxi -n

I expected ubuntu drivers common to not provide false negatives about wifi being broken. Instead it showed that my wireless was not working while I am using that to connect to launchpad to submit this bug report.
