Bug Description
Binary package hint: ubuntu-docs
I just did a a release update to 10.10 using the normal Update Manager.
When going to the System menu and selecting About Ubuntu I get the normal "Ubuntu - Linux for Human Beings!" help page, but to my surprise it starts of with: "You are using Ubuntu 11.04 - the Natty Narwhal - released in April 2011 and supported until October 2012." I mistakenly though for a bit that I had somehow accidentally updated to a alpha release, but other signs point to just an incorrect help file:
$ lsb_release -rd
Description: Ubuntu 10.10
Release: 10.10
$ cat /etc/*release
DISTRIB_ID=Ubuntu
DISTRIB_
DISTRIB_
DISTRIB_
$ cat /etc/issue
Ubuntu 10.10 \n \l
I did a search online and noticed that I wasn't the only one who had experienced it; for example see post #3 at:
http://
However it doesn't look like anyone else has filed a bug report yet.
