Bug Description

Important french translation error in file
/usr/share/ubuntu-artwork/home/locales/index-fr_FR.html

Le projet Ubuntu se construit dans le cadre de la philosophie Ubuntu : le logiciel devrait être gratuit, ...

gratuit mean in french "no price". It's a very common error when the "free" word is translated. This file is the default homepage of firefox. It's very important to correct this word who break the Ubuntu philosophy.

Replace "gratuit" by "libre".

The original text say "that software should be available free of charge,...". IMHO, the meaning of "free of charge" is "gratuit". Sorry.

The concept of free software is more important than software free of charges and I was surprised when I saw the word gratuit. I've just misunderstood ubuntu's philosophy.

Sorry for this false bug.

No problem.
I suppose this mention of "free of charge" is more in opposition to the business model chosen by distros like Redhat, Mandriva, Xandros, etc. that offer a free (as in beer) version, somewhat reduced in functionalities, and a commercial complete version.
