Bug Description
Binary package hint: ubuntu-docs
You do not need to export mail messages if you use IMAP for retrieving email from the your mail server - the email is still stored on the server. You only need to export mail messages if you use POP3 to retrieve email from your mail server. This is because by default the email will not be persisted on the server after it has been downloaded to your computer when using POP3.

Oops, I think that is something I wrote! Good catch, and thanks for the patch. I have also added that string to the Switching guide (since there is duplicated material between the two). Fix committed to the Lucid dev branch, rev 454. Cheers.
