Here is a proposed patch for String Freeze exception in Karmic dev. I changed the 2 spots noted in the bug description. Also, I removed the restricted-manager entry from gnome-menus-C.ent. Finally, I adjusted a line in scripts/fix-urls.sh which referred to "restricted- manager" to use "jockey".
I'm not entirely sure those last 2 points were necessary or desired. Matthew, can you please verify that it was correct to include them. If not, I can rebuild the patch without those changes.
