Bug Description
Binary package hint: ubuntu-docs
The "Samba as a Domain Controller" guide located at
https:/
and
https:/
has a typo that causes joining of the domain from a Windows computer to fail with the message "the user name could not be found".
In the section of the guide titled "Primary Domain Controller", in step three, the current documentation reads:
add machine script = sudo /usr/sbin/useradd -n -g machines -c Machine -d /var/lib/samba -s /bin/false %u
The "-n" flag should be an "-N" flag, as "-n" is not a valid option to the useradd command.

I created packages for Intrepid, Jaunty, and Karmic. They all seem to be the same, but I'll upload each separately anyway.
As I am in the process of learning bzr and have an ubuntu-doc branch for Karmic, I would like to try to propose a merge that way for the karmic branch if possible, but I'll attach the patch here as well.
