Documentation changed after latest Rosetta templates, update will be needed for intrepid

Binary package hint: ubuntu-docs

At least About Ubuntu doc seems to have changed texts compared to the POT templates in Rosetta, resulting in non-translated texts in About the Name and What is Linux? chapters. Thus at least one ubuntu-docs update should be done after the release.

Update: It was found out that the problem is limited to about-ubuntu template.

Still not fixed in intrepid, was supposed to get a fix before too long. Has it been forgotten or just too busy?

I have uploaded a fixed package to intrepid-proposed; please follow up for testing on bug 303578 once it is approved.

Unfortunately I thought that this bug had been fixed but it turns out that the new strings were never imported into Rosetta and therefore remain untranslated. Intrepid is quite close to end of life now and there isn't time or reason to import the new strings and ask translators to work on them again. As a result I'm closing the bug. In future I'm working on setting up a more formal process to update documentation translations to avoid this problem. I'm sorry for the inconvenience.
