Bug Description
If I go to System Settings - Brightness and Lock then I can find a Brightness slider input. But when I move the slider to a different position, the brightness of the screens does not change.
Earlier I said f.lux does not work either. I have found that f.lux does not install correctly and should not be expected to work apparently. People say to get resdshift instead. I get messages from python about unset
The software called redshift is able to make the screens a different color, so that is good.
sudo echo 50 > /sys/class/
Trusty Tahr 14.04 updated to current
This status is invalid so I should not be editing it, I should be editing the duplicate. Sorry about the duplicate.
ok, it is not ubuntu-docs. apparently an errant keystroke enabled me to submit the bug before it was correct in any way. I'll try again (how do I delete it? edit it? I'm the one who tried to make it! sorry!!)
